TIKTOK fans have been left far from impressed by a boxing bout between Simple Simon and Chef Dave – with some branding it the ‘worst thing they’ve ever watched’.
The pair appeared on a livestream on Tyrone and Bouncer’s TikToks for the bout, which was billed as one of the social media site’s biggest fights to date.
Nottingham-based creator Chef Dave, who boasts more than 326,000 followers, has become known for nightclub appearances, cooking tutorials and a lavish lifestyle.
On the other side of the ring was 52-year-old “Simple” Simon Colbran, a Director and Head Coach of Stars Football Academy in East Sussex.
The pair entered the grudge match after weeks of build-up at 10pm during Sunday Smoke on Sunday evening. Both put thousands of their own money on the table for the winner.
In the face-to-face before the match, Dave riled up Simon by spitting beer in the face of his rival, causing Simon to lash out and be held back by the team around them.
But fans were left unimpressed with what they ended up watching, complaining Dave “didn’t even want to fight” leading Simon to the win.
After being left waiting for an hour-and-a-half, the entire thing was over in a matter of minutes.
“Simple Simon vs Chef Dave was the worst thing I’ve ever watched. Pathetic,” complained one.
“Wtf was that Dave vs simple Simon fight chef didn’t look like he want to fight back,” said another.
“Simple Simon v Chef Dave the worst thing I’ve ever seen,” added a third, with. fourth commenting: “For the amount of time they took to get it set up aswell I want my time back.”
A fifth branded the entire thing “embarrassing” as another claimed they had “sacrificed sleep” for nothing.
